RAFFLE RULES:ELIGIBILITY You must be 18 years or older to purchase a raffle entry. Only one (1) individual may be identified as the purchaser (or buyer) of the raffle entry. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide a valid, deliverable mailing address and email address to the Betisenian USA. Betisenian USA and its agents, Board, vendors, volunteers and members assume no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, undelivered entries or entries without proper payment received, which entries shall be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified. Betisenian USA officers and Board members are not eligible to participate in this Raffle. By entering the Raffle, the entry purchaser acknowledges that he or she is aware of and agrees with the raffle official rules.

DRAWING A maximum of 7,000 entries will be sold for the 2006 Raffle. Key eligibility and prize drawing dates are as follows: Final Drawing - Winning ticket numbers for all prizes will be drawn and announced on December 2, 2006. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (PST) on December 1, 2006 to be eligible for these drawings. Prizes with the lowest retail value will be drawn first progressing in order to the Grand Prize. Grand Prize: (one) $1,000 cash; Second Prize: (one) $600 cash; Third Prize: (one) $300 cash; and other prizes to be announced during the drawing.

Betisenian USA reserves the right not to accept entries at their discretion and to add additional prizes or drawings at any time.

RETURN AND CANCELLATION POLICY All requests for ticket or raffle entry cancellations must be made by 11:59 a.m. PST at least three (3) business days prior to date of the drawing for which the ticket(s) in question is/are eligible for. Furthermore, all purchases of raffle entries are non-refundable after the noon deadline posted above, or once an entry has been included in any prize draw.

PRIZES Approximately 3 major prizes will be awarded. Details and quantity of Secondary Prizes will be announced before the drawing. The odds of winning a prize are dependent upon the number of valid entries received, but shall be no less than 1-in-385. The statement of 1-in-385 chance to win a prize is based on the purchase of a single ticket, 5,000 total tickets being sold and each ticket being eligible for at least 13 total prize drawings. Betisenian USA will award the prize to the first name listed on the entry. Records of Betisenian USA shall be deemed correct if there is any discrepancy. Betisenian USA is not responsible for resolving any disputes that may arise from different individuals listed on a raffle ticket. With proper transfer documents bearing notarized signatures, as required by the Raffle, a prize may be transferred.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS All winners will be notified in writing and/or by phone of the prize won and any requisite procedure to claim the prize. The three (3) major prize winners are entitled to the corresponding cash prize in the form of a Cashier’s Check within 90 days of notification by the Betisenian USA. They will receive a letter of notification within seven (7) business days of the drawing date. They may pick up the prize in person or Betisenian USA will mail the Cashier’s Check via certified return receipt on the winner’s home address only. Winners’ names and locations by city or town, and state, may be mailed to registered members of Betisenian USA and will be posted at www.BetisenianUSA.org. If a selected winner is unable to be contacted or located after a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days from the draw date of raffle drawing, the prize or its cash equivalent will be deemed to have been donated to Betisenian USA for use by their charitable foundation. All contact attempts shall be made to the address and phone number provided by the raffle entry purchaser. All winners, by entering, authorize Betisenian USA to publish their name and likeness on the website and for it to be used in other promotional materials by Betisenian USA.

TAXES AND IRS RULES All winners shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prizes. All cash prizes will be paid in full amount and any applicable income tax will be the winners’ responsibility. Government rules governing withholding can change without notice. Betisenian USA will follow the rules in effect at the time the prizes are awarded. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution. Check with your qualified financial advisor for additional information.

WAIVER/LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY Entry purchasers, by participating (and winners, by accepting a prize) release Betisenian USA, and its respective board, committee members, volunteers, partners, vendors, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies and independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents, including advertising, public relations, direct marketing and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession or use of the prize(s) awarded and also acknowledge that they did not receive any representations, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness. Any liability of Betisenian USA shall be limited to ticket price paid and in the case of any dispute, Betisenian USA's decision shall be final. Betisenian USA reserves the right to modify or amend these Rules without notice at any time, so please read this page regularly to ensure you are updated as to any changes.
